Experience an evening of classical music that spans intimacy and drama, reflection and exuberance with soloists from the Norwegian National Opera at Operakveld: A Night of Opera and Art Song.

Patrick Parker, tenor – Ludvig Lindström, bass-baritone – John Lidal, piano
The concert opens with Edvard Grieg’s Den fyrste song and sacred duets by Mozart and Bach, blending Nordic lyricism with the serenity of church music.
Audiences will be carried through the tender poetry of Schubert’s Schwanengesang, where the lieder unfold stories of love, longing, and memory.
The dramatic intensity of opera is brought to life with Tchaikovsky’s Lensky aria, capturing the youthful poignancy of friendship and farewell, while the concert concludes with the Pearl Fishers duet by Bizet, a moving celebration of friendship and loyalty.
Performances by tenor Patrick Parker and bass-baritone Ludvig Lindström, accompanied by John Lidal on piano, promise to illuminate every nuance—from delicate introspection to operatic grandeur. This varied and atmospheric program offers something for every listener, weaving together the power of voice, the intimacy of song, and the richness of classical repertoire.
