Celebrate the season with Christmas Around the World, a joyous concert that takes audiences on a musical journey from Rome to Vienna. Featuring Patrick Parker (tenor), Randi Rossak (soprano), and pianist Bina Karpisova, the program combines sacred music, carols, and operatic highlights for an evening of warmth, reflection, and holiday cheer.

The concert begins in Rome with the shimmering duet Jesu Bambino by Pietro Yon, before moving to Oslo, where traditional Norwegian carols such as I denne søte juletid, Det hev ei rose sprunge, and Mitt hjerte alltid vanker evoke the intimate spirit of a Nordic Christmas.
From the bustling energy of New York, audiences will hear Bina Karpisova’s arrangement of Carol of the Bells, followed by Parisian elegance with excerpts from Massenet’s Manon and Puccini’s La Bohème, including duets that blend lyricism and theatricality.
The journey continues through London with The Holly and the Ivy, In the Bleak Midwinter, and I Saw Three Ships, then to Vienna, featuring Humperdinck’s Abendsegen from Hänsel und Gretel, Lehar’s Dein ist mein ganzes Herz, and Korngold’s Glück, das mir verblieb, offering both solo and duet highlights.
The concert concludes with a global celebration of Christmas with O Holy Night by Adolphe Adam.
